The young director of J Model Management has just finished filming Talk Vietnam, the Vietnamese TV programme featuring successful individuals worldwide, and attending two networking sessions with students and lecturers at Hanoi University of Technology and University of Hanoi. "I am truly grateful and honoured to receive such warm welcome from everyone and I must say, the young generation here is extremely bright" said Jessica Minh Anh.

The main halls of both universities were completely packed with thousands of students and lecturers who were at their full concentration. “We are so grateful to have Jessica Minh Anh at our university. She’s such a well-rounded person and has taught not only our students but also myself a lot about the road to success. We cannot wait to welcome her back on her next trip to Hanoi” said Hoang Thi Huong Giang, Deputy Dean, Faculty of Management & Tourism, University of Hanoi. Topics covered included how to start your own business, what are the qualities needed to run a successful business, how to apply what you’ve learnt at the universities effectively into the working environment, how to overcome challenges, how to use your time effectively among many others. At 8pm on the 19th October 2011, J Model Management's young director Jessica Minh Anh made history when she turned England’s iconic London Tower Bridge into the world's newest catwalk. The 61 meter long walkway, 44 metres above the River Thames, was graced by 15 exclusive collections of top designers from five different continents. The grand show was " definitely the global fashion phenomenon of the decade" said international choreographer and movement director K.Knight

"Despite all the technical challenges on the walkways and the short time frame to set everything up, the show went amazingly well. Absolutely incredible!" said Lucy Kite from ITV Central. The high profile guests, including ambassadors from 15 different countries, director of sponsorship and operation of London 2012 Alan Williams, buying directors from major department stores like John Lewis, Asos, Anthropologie, etc, all the designers in the show, and the international press from Russia, Georgia, Netherland, China, and Vietnam, enjoyed a glamorous red carpet entrance and a special drink and canapé reception prepared by a team of world master chefs right after the show.

PAUL COSTELLOE (IRELAND)

This is the 3rd time Paul Costelloe showcased his collection at J Model Management's fashion show. The British fashion leader is obviously pleased with the exclusivity and high standard of J catwalks.

AVTANDIL (GEORGIA)

Georgian designer Avtandil brought diversity to the catwalk with a brand new collection inspired by Leni Riefenstahl’s “Africa”. Blended bright colours, underlined feminine silhouette and one-of-a-kind details are the main characteristics of the collection. Avtandil has succeeded in expressing the fascination of Africa in a completely new manner.

MS. COUTURE (AUSTRALIA)

Ms Couture’s collection from Australia transformed J models into confectionary flavoured goddesses, encased in a colour palette of mouth-watering sorbet tones including lemon, mint, pink, lilac and ice blue. The fabrics used are as soft as fairy floss, corsets are structured like chocolate topping and the trims are like the fine, delectable craftsmanship employed by old world Venetian artisans.

XO FASHION STUDIO (RUSSIA)

XO Fashion Studio’s bold coloured pattern is created from geometrical forms and adapted to the female body. The duo behind these exquisite creations truly reflects the aesthetics of 21st century fashion design.

NABRMAN (DUBAI)

Nabrman all the way from Dubai brought to the show a youthfulness and energetic collection which mixed black with bright colours and combined with luxurious fabrics, inspired by details in nature, such as intricate laser cutting in the form of flowers.

VO VIET CHUNG (VIETNAM)

Inspired by the James Cameron's Avatar movie, Vietnamese designer Vo Viet Chung took the audience on a journey to a mysterious and colourful planet in a wild jungle, which is inhabited by wild creatures and plants.

BETTIE PAGE (AMERICA)

American brand Bettie Page brought back the 50s with nipped in waists, full net underskirts and vibrant colours.

MAICCO (GEORGIA)

Maicco is yet again the one to bring a very distinguished collection by its bright colours and the same time the simplicity for this season. The original details create the elegance. The three-layered green dress accompanied by a pair of suede knee high red boots and a violin necklace worn by Jessica Minh Anh was definitely the showstopper.

RAZU MIKHINA (RUSSIA)

Razu Mikhina's collection from Russia showed some clear fascination with traditional homeland materials, i.e. Russian linen lace and ribbons, which are traditionally used in folk costumes rendered into a updated hippy style. The signature piece - rainbow, floor-sweeping dress - is an effortless masterpiece of hundreds of different patterned ribbons mixed into dramatic multi-coloured combination.

Greek luxury swimwear label Paolita showcased an array of colourful printed swimwear, this included a playful monokini perfectly fitting for S/S 12

LA designerIna Soltani, mystique collection was full of Hollywood glamour and showed expert craftsmanship in diamond-studded leather.

PAUSE CAFE (FRANCE)

French brand Pause Café brought a perfect selection of woolen fabrics and patchwork details for a stylish woman with character.

HAMMAMAS (ENGLAND)

ADDY VAN DEN KROMMENACKER (NETHERLANDS)

Dutch celebrity designer, Addy Van Den Krommenacker, showcased his latest collection of outstanding evening gowns with trains ranging from sweeping to royal length. The luxurious fabrics, opulent beading and sequin detailing created the most elegant way to finish the show.

ACCESSORY BRANDS: TRESOR PARIS, SHOE DEVOTION, BEAU & ARROW (ENGLAND)

The sparkeling bracelets and necklaces from Tresor Paris, the combination of oustanding high heels, boots, and wedges from Shoe Devotion, and the authentic jewellery sets from Beau & Arrow accompanying all the collections definitely beautified the catwalk.

Yesterday 22 August 2011, the ITV Central team visited J Model Management's Birmingham office to check out the progress of the grand J Autumn Fashion Show preparation. The high profile fashion show, which will be held on England's iconic symbol London Tower Bridge, will showcase the most spectacular collections of top fashion brands from not only the UK but also other countries in Europe, Asia, Middle East, Africa, Australia, and America. It is expected to set the new standard for luxurious fashion shows worldwide.

"We feel very honored to be the first to host a fashion show on the Tower Bridge. We are ready to take high fashion 44 meters off the ground on the 61 meter long walkway where the grand show will be held. “I don’t have a personal life. I work 12 hours per day 7 days per week and all my close friends are either in the industry or a part of the J Model Management team. All the parties and social events I go to are work related and I love it. I couldn’t ask for more!”

The 61 meter long catwalk will be lightened up with the state-of-the-art energy-efficient lighting system. The exclusive VIP list includes influential faces like editors of the most celebrated press worldwide, CEO of fortune 500 companies, and international designers and buyers, who will be watching the show 44 meters off the ground. “We are ready to redefine the world’s fashion show standard” said Jessica. The show, which is choreographed by the international movement director K.Knight renowned for his work with Beyonce, Kylie Minogue, and MTV, is expected to be a global fashion phenomenon of the decade.

J Model Management's Summer Fashion Show at the world's iconic celebrity destination Savoy London on 30 June 2011 gained tremendous international success over night. Showcasing the most spectacular collections by top designers from 10 fashion capitals in the famous Lancaster Ballroom, the show marked a new wave of young and multi-talented fashion show organisers, started by J Models' director Jessica Minh Anh.

"What is so special about the show is that J Models took care of the whole backstage preparation and put designers at ease. It was definitely a challenge as designers are used to being hands on but I was very much enjoying myself front row" said Malaysian sensation Danny Tang.

"I was amazed at how calm and collection Jessica and her team was throughout the day considering the millions of aspectes to be put together for the show. The venue, the stage, models, music, and overall atmostphere were absolutely breath taking" said BBC WM reporter Jenny Jones

Besides over two hundred international designers, brand managers and representatives from UK fashion and beauty companies and PR agencies, British TV faces like Jayne Wisener, Kelly Adams, Dawn Porter, and Shaun Smith, VIPs on the red carpet included country ambassadors from Austria, Argentina, Vietnam, Ireland, Lithuania, Romania, Trinidad & Tobacco, andKyrgyzstan. Gregor Clemens (Germany)

J Summer Fashion Show marked the invasion of German designer Gregor in the UK fashion scene. His collection charmed the audience with the contemporary corset cuts dresses. “I mainly used fabrics you normally would use for upholstery. These are a bit stiffer, so I can form them into shapes I want” said Gregor Clemens.

Danny Tang (Malaysia)

Jessica Minh Anh selected Danny Tang as the representative from Malaysia to showcase his stunning collection of both couture and ready wear dresses “I play with the classic shapes like round, square, triangle and mix them into my Spring/Summer collection” said Danny Tang. His creations, which will be showcased in London and Paris this September, were inspired by classic old Hollywood menswear details mixed into extremely feminine cocktail and evening dresses.

Maicco (Georgia)

Maicco, who accessorized the dresses with pieces of musical instruments, added a jazzy feel to the night. The collection is very creative, interesting, and colourful. You cannot help but falling in love with it. 11 looks from Maicco uses the atypical colour palette that includes terracotta, dark greens, gunmetal grey and a host of others to make a statement and gives the entire collection a breath of fresh air. “I love Maicco’s collection, which stands out as the individual in a crowd. It’s charismatic and experimental.” said Jessica Minh Anh

Charlotte's collection charmed the audience with colour, freshness, and youth. "The silk dresses and scarves were stunning. It was a combination of elegance and liveliness" said BBC WM reporter. Differing itself from her usual silk outfit, Charlotte's signature piece was a black and purple fur coat, which stood out from the rest and stole the show. Addy van den Krommenacker (Netherlands)

The Paris Fashion Week designer ended the show with a spectacular collection. The dresses, most of which have a train ranging from sweeping to royal length, were made with metallic chained- mail, taffeta, and chiffon fabrics. The collection includes a short pink dress which looks as if it was made from thousands of feathers. The signature big dress with green laces, giant stones, and golden details worn by Jessica Minh Anh at the centre stage left a memorable ending to the show.

Mad Hatter Boutique (Romania)

Mad Hatter Boutique's hats and fascinators were teamed up with various UK and international designers to create the wow factor. "I wanted to have a collection that represents what Mad Hatter Boutique usually stands for: unique pairing of sometimes unexpected elements" said Madalina. Using unconventional materials with big flowers to be the central element, the collection is bold and yet elegant and wearable. "It was absolutely amazing seeing my hats on the runway along with pieces belonging to so many talented designers. I thought that the pairing of the Mad Hatter Boutique headpieces and the clothes was really inspiring and I have to thank Jessica Minh Anh and her team for showcasing my designs in the best possible way" said Madalina

HAIR & MAKEUP

CONCEPT 1: THE MODELS

Milan photographer Thomas, who recently shot the cover of Playboy magazine, shot J model Jessica Minh Anh andWill Wilton standing still amongst all the chaos of the hair and makeup. Celebrity makeup artist Jo Sugar and hair stylist Kieron Lavine produced the high society and luxurious look on both models while following the colour trend of the season.

Jessica and Will had to stand very still while the coordinators and makeup artist run around to create the speedy motion, which was nicely captured in the powerful lights. They were shot seperately and the images were put together afterwards in post production. "I was trying not to laugh as everyone was running round. We did have such a great time and the team worked so well together. We achieved what we planned initially in just 30 minutes" said Jessica. Will added "Thomas kept saying BE DEAD, BE DEAD and I guess we were as dead as anyone could ever be! Amazing team and a fantastic venue. What more could you ask for!"

The final poster is yet another outstanding creation by J models' favourite graphic designer Chris Christodoulou. Chris put together a few versions of the poster as you can see below

CONCEPT 2: THE DOLLS

These pretty and expensive dolls were wearing Paul Costelloe's signature pieces for AW2011. Jessica and Will were shot both seperately and together.

The idea is to show an innocent side of the high society! Is there actually one? "I put Jessica's hair up as we wanted to show off the beautiful details of the collar of her dress. The bun also made her look cute like a little doll" said Kieron "Will's hair was done in the classic way and it definitely suited him"

Paul Costelloe

Paul Costelloe is an Irish designer and artist who has been a leader in British Irish fashion for the last 30 years, and with his strong sense of style and desire to create wearable designs with a fresh feel, it is easy to see why. The Paul Costelloe name is now well known throughout the UK and abroad, with his clothing seen in retailers such as House of Fraser and John Lewis. Since establishing the brand in 1979, he has presented his Spring/Summer and Autumn/Winter catwalk collections at London Fashion Week every season for the last 15 years, and has opened the week for the last 6 seasons due to the consistent flare his shows bring.

Jaeger

Jaeger is a world-class, contemporary British fashion and lifestyle brand with a rich history and dynamic future built on womenswear, menswear and accessories. The brand was established in 1884 and was built around the benefits of wearing natural fibres such wool, alpaca, camel hair and cashmere; fabrics which are key in the brands designs today. Jaegar's heritage of natural and luxury fabrics, unique graphics, cut, fit and design create the distinctive designs they are known for.

Charlotte Sparre

New York Fashion Week designer from Denmark Charlotte Sparre began her career selling hair accessories, and after a trip to Asia, she established a business creating silk scarves in 1993. The creation of unique and eye catching designs and color combinations found Charlotte a name on the Scandinavian market with the unique designs standing out against similar products. Through a 15 year career of design and production Charlotte Sparre has developed a vast collection of scarves. Charlotte Sparre has also been displaying her Haute Couture collection in international fashion shows, which are worn by models such as Helena Christensen and Naomi Campbell. Today Charlotte Sparre's collection is available to customers in Sweden, Norway, Belgium, France, Italy, England, USA, Canada, Australia and Japan.

Addy van den Krommenacker

Netherlands sensation Addy Fan Den Krommenacker was already known as a stylist for Dutch celebrities before launching his first collection in 2001. The celebrities he dressed have been proclaimed best-dressed women of the Netherlands several times. Addy shows his preference for lace and silk in every collection and he accentuates the female form. His collections are a tribute to women: class, timeless, and elegance are keywords for his collection. Julia Roberts has expressed her admiration for these dresses, and many celebrities have worn his creations during important television events. In July 2007 Van den Krommenacker presented his haute couture collection at the Alta Moda in Rome with enormous success. He received excellent reviews from the international press and received later that year 'The Look Of The Year' award in Taormina, Sicily for Best Foreign New Designer.

Mirco Giovannini

Mirco Giovannini shined during trade show 'Who's Next' in 2006. Here he made a name for himself as a fashion designer of luxury knitwear thanks to his remarkable sense of creativity and extensive knowledge of antique artisan techniques. After nearly 20 years of experience as design consultant for various companies and important luxury houses of fashion; Versace, La Perla, Jean Paul Gaultier, Mirco Giovannini launched his own line for Spring/Summer 2007. A few years after the birth of the company, the results have been astronomical and today Mirco Giovannini's brand name has become an international reality.

Limi Feu

Limi Feu is a well known Japanese fashion designer. She started her label in 2000 and showed her clothes at Tokyo Fashion Week between 2000 and 2007. She made her Paris Fashion Week debut in October 2007 and was highly rated by fashion critics. Feu is the daughter of legendary designer Yohji Yamamoto . Fashion writers have pointed to similarities between the aesthetics of Feu and her father: that they both employ dark colors, large volumes, layering, and asymmetry in their designs. However, her designs are streetwise and have a rock attitude, whereas her father's designs were typically romantic.

Rachel Gilbert

With luxury embellishments as her personal hallmark, thirteen celebrated high-end collections under her belt, and a cluster of A-list stars striding the red-carpet in her creations, Designer Rachel Gilbert is on course to become a leading fashion figure in Australia and across the globe. With an enviable reputation achieved in a short time, Rachel Gilbert began honing her design skills in 2001 with iconic Australian label Lisa Ho a role she walked into fresh from training at the Whitehouse Institute of Design. From there she worked for many different brands, to build her experience and industry contacts and with a head full of ideas she broke into the fashion world with her own label. Having previously shown her first collection at Mercedes Australia Fashion Week in 2002, Rachel Gilbert launched her SS10 collection with a standalone show at RAFW 2010.
